Thumbs up What if I have already had surgery, but still experience pain?

Certain surgical procedures (such as hip or knee replacements or ankle surgeries) or previous bone fractures can result in artificially created leg length inequalities, creating or contributing to chronic back pain. If The Back Leveler determines that your pelvis is tilted, compensating for the short leg may help to alleviate residual pain and improve your quality of life.

There is no mention of the type of surgery you had, or where the pain is. Certainly anatomical leg length inequalities need to be compensated for, or the resulting compensatory motions in the lumbar spine will start to degenerate and create even more problems. Torsion in the pelvis can create a functionally short leg and create the same problems, but is easily corrected without surgical intervention. Pelvic torsioning can also lead to knee problems as the affected leg can externally rotate, and put excess pressure on the medial aspect of the knee, and because the foot is not tracking right, even cause the navicular bone in the foot to drop causing problems there.

.....But if the surgery, did not help the pain, it probably did not address the problem....

Unfortunately, as your doctor should have told you, back surgery is not always successful. My wife has had two surgeries, the last of which really helped. But even now she still has some pain. However, it is much less than before and bearable so she was happy with the results.
