Default Good Standing Posture to Avoid Back Pain

Don't stand in the same position for a long time - so move around

    * Stand with your head up, shoulders straight, chest forward, weight balanced evenly on both feet and your hips tucked in.
    * If you have to stand for a long time, make sure that you shift your weight frequently.
    * Putting one foot on a step or a stool will reduce the chances of stressing your back - switch feet after a few minutes.

  2. Default

If you work at a desk or at a computer always remember to get up and stretch every half hour or so. Make sure you keep checking in with your shoulders and put them back and down - keep 'posture conscious'
