The Mayo Clinic has slides showing a series of back exercises (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/back-pain/LB00001_D) which take just 15 minutes a day. The idea is to do 3 to 4 reps of each to start with, and build the number as you get more comfortable. The slides show the positions for each exercise and are easy to follow.
